Take a ticket on entry. Under two hours the same ticket lifts the exit barrier; after that pay at a machine before leaving.
The free option for both directions and the one Luton recommends when a pick-up needs more than 30 minutes. The free shuttle runs every 20 minutes, around the clock, takes about 10 minutes, and stops at Bus Bay B outside the terminal.

The two multi-storey car parks, 4 minutes (over the link bridge) and 5 minutes on foot from the terminal. Both charge the same gate prices. Blue Badge holders and passengers with booked assistance get 30 minutes free in Terminal Car Park 1.

For vehicles of 20 seats or more with reversing cameras only; it is a drive-in, reverse-out bay. Entry to collect is allowed only once the flight has landed. Smaller vehicles, and any without reversing cameras, use the Drop Off and Pick Up Zone.
Collections are charged by permit, not by the clock, and Luton prints no charge for dropping a group off, no time limit at the bay and no height limit.
